Grace

Scripture: Jonah 3:10– 4:11, Matthew 20:1–16

The Grace from God to you and me is the salvation that comes from Jesus Christ. We should be punished. Yet Christ took our place and be punished to pay for what we did. That is the Grace of God.

There's a sovereignty of God. Often times we wonder, why do we work just as hard as others, yet we don't seem like we are receiving the same blessings as others? Why do others look like they live in abundance when your life seems like just as ordinary as it is? It causes jelousy and us, blaming God for not giving us what we should've earned.

Yet we forgot to realize that God's grace itself is enough and should be enough. There is no way that we will be able to earn salvation by our own effort, because we are broken people. We make mistakes all the time. We can not earn perfection. Yet what required for salvation is the perfect sacrifice, the perfect offering. The only way we could be save is through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who defetead death so that we can be saved. We can have a relationship with Him.

There's a sovereignty of God. There isn't always any answer as to why one is more blessed than others. Yet Christ is enough for you and me.

When you receive the Grace of God, it will change you from the inside out. You will leave your old way of living. From living in the dark to living in the light. You will be renewed.

It's not because God is not fair that He blessed one more than others. It is not our place to ask God for the why. It is our part, however, to pass along the same Grace that you received from Christ to others. Therefore, they can see Christ through you. They too can experience Christ just as you do.

Instead of keep comparing your life with others, seek God first. Look back and see how big His Grace is for you.
